1. Who operates the service

WorldWide Giveways is an independent giveaway platform. Questions and privacy requests can be submitted through matimh.eu.

2. Information we collect

When you sign in with Discord, we receive the information needed to create your account, including your Discord user ID, display name, avatar and email address when Discord makes it available.

We also process information you provide or generate while using the service, including:

• giveaway names, descriptions, rules, dates, prizes, actions and page settings;
• giveaway entries, completed actions, entry totals and timestamps;
• winner selections, assigned prizes and notification status;
• authentication cookies and limited technical information required to keep the service secure and working.

3. How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, publish and manage giveaways, prevent duplicate or invalid entries, select and contact winners, provide CSV exports to giveaway creators, maintain security and diagnose technical problems.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Legal grounds

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is carried out to provide the service you request, to pursue legitimate interests such as platform security and fraud prevention, to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent where consent is specifically requested.

5. Giveaway creators

A giveaway creator can access participant and winner information related to their own campaign. Creators must use that information only to operate the giveaway, verify entries, contact winners and deliver prizes. A creator may have separate legal obligations as an independent data controller.

6. Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication, database and infrastructure services. Discord provides OAuth authentication and may be used to deliver winner notifications. Discord processes information under its own Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, necessary to protect the service or its users, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.

7. Retention

Account and campaign information is retained while it is needed to provide the service. Ended giveaway records may be kept to preserve results, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably required.

8. Cookies

WorldWide Giveways uses essential authentication cookies to keep you signed in and protect your session. These cookies are required for account features. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

9. Your choices and rights

You can sign out at any time and disconnect the application through your Discord settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to receive a portable copy of it. Requests can be made through matimh.eu. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Security, transfers and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries outside your own and use legally recognized transfer safeguards where required.

This policy may change as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
